The New Farm Aviation Heritage Museum in Frettenham is a fascinating volunteer-run collection dedicated to preserving East Anglia’s rich aviation history. Managed by the New Farm Aviation Heritage Group, the museum showcases artifacts from over 160 aircraft crash sites, including rare pieces linked to RAF Rackheath and the 467th Bomb Group. Exhibits feature military and civilian aviation memorabilia recovered from Norfolk and surrounding areas, offering a unique insight into wartime and post-war aviation heritage. Open April to October on the second and fourth Sunday of each month, the museum provides free entry, friendly hospitality, and refreshments at Libby’s Tea Hut.
